AI Processing & Data Protection
Helder uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responsive prompts that adapt to your writing state. Your journal content is processed to provide a supportive writing environment.
How We Protect Your Data
- PII Stripping: Before sending data to Claude, we automatically remove personal identifiers like email addresses and phone numbers
- No AI Training: Your journal content is never used to train AI models
- Secure Processing: All data is transmitted over encrypted connections
- Limited Retention: Anthropic does not retain your data beyond processing the request

- Clerk — Authentication (secure sign-in)

- Vercel — Hosting infrastructure
- Supabase — Database (session storage)
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing for adaptive prompts
Data Retention
- Journal entries: Retained while your account is active
- Session metadata: Retained for 1 year
- Payment records: Retained as required by law
Data Security
Your journal entries are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission.
Your Rights
